ADVANTAGES OF INDIVIDUAL WORK
The advantages of study alone
All student have different styles of studying. Some people prefer to study alone and others prefer to study with a group of students. I myself prefer to study alone because I can concentrate more in my study. So let me give some reasons about why I think is better to study anlone than to study with a group.
I can concentrate in my study better when I am alone. It is more quiet and I do not have to care about other poeple. If I study with a group, I am sure that I would start talking with my friends and also, I would think other things than studying. It would interrupt my consentration. Another advantage of study alone is the obligation of solving the problem by myself. If I study with other students, I would quickly ask question to my friends and avoid thinking deeply to try to solve the problem by my self.
It is true that however, sometimes I began lazy and do not even want to start studying. In this case, I think that study with friends and have some good stimulations would be a cue to start studying.However, it is occasionaly, not all the time. It is said that by teaching each other, we can understand the content of the study more effectively than to be satisfied to understand only by myself. My high school teacher used to say that if we can teach to our collegue, that means we complitely understood the class. However we can do this process at school when we are in the class. The most important thing in studying is to concentrate, which I think the most difficult if I am in a group.

Less Talking
It’s really difficult to focus on the value of x or the role white blood cells play in the human body while your busy flirting with the hot girl in your study group or joking with your best friend. When your studying in a group it’s easy to spend more time talking than actually studying. You probably don’t even realize you’re doing it. But when you’re on your own it’s a little easier to keep yourself focused.
Focus on the Right Topics
Sometimes study partners are not as knowledgeable as you are. Sometimes they want to spend hours studying a topic that you already know like the back of your hand. In those cases you often don’t accomplish anything. Instead you waste time allowing your friends to copy your notes and explaining the fine aspects of a topic you already know. Then you have to go home and study for real anyway.
No Arguments
It’s hard to focus on anything when your still reeling internally from an argument or a rude comment your study partner made. True, you can still be distracted when your studying alone, but at least you don’t have to make nice and pretend everything is fine.
Feeling Stupid
It’s often a lot of help to study with people who are more knowledgeable than you are. They’re great at sharing information and helping you figure things out. But sometimes they can make you feel stupid. And anything that hurts your confidence while you study is not a good thing. So sometimes it’s better to just figure it out for yourself.
